On Tuesday, 12/1/15, many gathered for the award ceremony at Shipley School to thank all those who volunteered and award the the profits to some very deserving organizations. This was the 22nd annual Haunted Fair Grounds and it was the best four nights ever with a grand total of $23,107.00 from ticket sales and food concessions. Over $18,000 was given to Santa's Toy Shop, Jefferson County Food Pantry, and the Panhandle Free Clinic after all expenses were paid.
A special thank you to Ron Nowell, coordinator, Dick Ernst, Angel & Carl Boyd who designed and managed this year's Haunted Fairgrounds.
Many more volunteers worked to set up, be actors, sell tickets, cooks meals for everyone that we can't thank enough. This event wouldn't be possible without all of you.
Hope to see you all next year.
